俄语Draw Textured Yarn is a fully drawn polyester multifilament yarn that is textured by a process of hot drawing, twisting and thermosetting. This process develops texture in the yarn, imparting bulk and stretch properties. It is an excellent choice for knits & woven fabrics in the clothing and home furnishing industries, including denim, terry towels, and other cotton blend products.
DTY consists of a filament yarn that is twisted and drawn in a specific pattern to create durable crimps, twists, interlaces, loops or other fine distortions along the lengths of the filament. These distorted effects increase the fiber’s elasticity and strength, as well as enhancing its aesthetic appeal.
Developed using the latest, high-speed, and comparable machines, DTY is made from a variety of materials, including polyolefins, polyester, acrylic, ethylene propylene terephthalate, PTFE, and polyamides. It can be spun to a wide range of deniers and with different degrees of intermingling, as needed by downstream machines.
The main material of DTY is a synthetic polymer called polyester, which has a unique combination of properties that make it highly desirable in this application. It is a lightweight, breathable fiber with great softness and durability. It is also very absorbent, making it ideal for use as a replacement for cotton and other cotton blend yarns.
It is suitable for all types of looms and knitting machines, and it can be used to produce a range of different types of textiles. DTY yarns are available in semi-dull, bright and trilobal lusters and can be spun from round, pentagonal and hexagonal filament cross sections.
These filaments are extruded from the molten state and spun into a continuous yarn. During the spinning process, the spinnerets are rotated in the opposite direction of the fibers to generate the twisted texture. The twisting process produces a fabric that has an attractive appearance and can be easily manipulated for various applications.
This yarn can be further molded with different heating techniques to create different technical properties for specific uses. The yarn can be moulded with a variety of Intermingle points, ranging from Non-Intermingle with 0 to 10 knots per meter (NIM) or with Semi-Intermingle having 40 to 50 knots per meter (SIM) and High-Intermingle having 100 to 120 knots per meter (HIM).
In addition to this, DTY can be produced in a range of color master-batches to ensure an even distribution of colors throughout the yarn. The yarn can be dope dyed or conventionally dyed for additional color variations.
Bright profiled polyester DTY is made of bright polyester POY yarn. Thanks to the characteristics of trilobal cross section of bright POY, trilobal bright DTY yarn is widely used in blanket or carpet industry which is also known as polyester blanket yarn.

In terms of application, circular machine and raschel machine can be applied for weaving and knitting the blanket plush pile of the polyester blankets, such as raschel blankets, acrylic blankets, and other wool-like products. Others, for manufacturing textile fabrics, such as curtains, decoration fabrics.
