Polyester and spandex fabric is a stretch fabric made of polyester with spandex by great circle machine. Spandex elastic elongation can reach about 500%, with poor alkali resistance, high temperature resistance and good mechanical resistance. Normally, the cloth with better elasticity should be a few smoother relative to the cloth with poorer elasticity. Therefore, when polyester is blended with spandex by circular knitting machine, the woven fabric will partly have the characteristics of spandex fiber, smooth feeling and good elasticity. The high elongation and fast resilience of spandex have been used by fabric and clothing manufacturers to obtain the shape manifestation, side modification and bodybuilding functions of clothing.

As for polyester, its properties of light, cool, strong, wear-resisting and air permeability. After finishing process, the original non-absorbent polyester and spandex sweatcloth can also obtain the similar feature to cotton: good hygroscopicity.
