The raw white POY is spun from polyester chips or masterbatch using Barmag technology, after which it is deformed into DTY or low elastic textured yarn. The raw white DTY is then dipped in the dope-dyed chemicals to obtain various colors such as grey, blue, red, orange, green, and yellow. The yarn is then packed loosely onto a perforated plastic tube before being dipped in the dyeing solution.
DTY / DT YARN TECHNICAL PROPERTIES
The DTY / DT YARN from India is available in various combinations of intermingled points. These are Non-Intermingle (NIM) having 0 - 10 knots/meter, Semi-Intermingle (SIM) having 40 - 50 knots/meter, and High-Intermingle (HIM) having 100 - 120 knots/meter.

FDY / DT YARN TECHNICAL PREPARATION

POY (POLYESTER YARN) is available in various kinds of lustrousness like Full-Dull POY, Semi-Dull POY and Bright POY.
In order to eliminate the luster of the fiber, titanium dioxide (TiO₂) was added into the melt spinning process. POY yarn without TiO₂, it is considered as Bright filament POY (or Tri-lobal Bright yarn). If 0.3% TiO₂ is added, it is called semi-dull filament POY. And if TiO₂ added is more than 0.3%, it is considered as full-dull filament POY. And therefore, the polyester bright yarn looks more shine than semi-dull or full-dull yarns in the light. The fabric made from Bright POY also has the bright luster.
