俄语Polyester POY is a kind of yarn that is produced from semi-opaque polyester chips. This yarn is used in a variety of applications. It can be used in various lusters such as bright, semi-dull, and full-dull. Some of its other applications include soft luggage, technical yarn, and home furnishings.
Generally, POY is sold to texturizing units. These are companies that process the filaments of polyester. Texturizing gives the yarn more flexibility. In turn, these companies sell the yarn to producers, who use it in a wide range of end uses.
Bright POY is a type of polyester yarn that is characterized by its shininess. The cross-sections of the filaments give it the bright luster. However, there are a number of factors that contribute to its luster. One of them is the amount of titanium dioxide that is added to the melt-spinning process. Another factor is the high amorphous region in the fiber. Other factors include the processing conditions that the fibres are exposed to.
Fully-Oriented Yarn is another form of yarn produced from polyester chips. Fully-Oriented Yarn is most commonly used in industrial applications. Partially-Oriented Yarn is also a type of yarn, but has a lower tenacity than fully-oriented yarn. Unlike fully-oriented yarn, partially-oriented yarn cannot be processed by traditional textile techniques.
Polymer yarns are available in many different lusters. They come in a variety of colours and are also available in dope-dyed and packaged forms.
Most of the polyester yarns are available in raw white and dope dyed colors. However, there are a few that are only available in packages. For example, the Bright POY yarn is available in both dope-dyed and raw white finishes.
Fully-Dull is a polyethylene yarn that contains more than 0.3% TiO2. Full-Dull is also available in dope-dyed and raw white finishes. Semi-Dull is a white polyester yarn that contains 0.35 wt% titanium dioxide.

As the consumer trend shifts towards lightweight fabrics, the demand for textured fabrics is expected to increase. Therefore, polyester partially oriented yarns are expected to experience a substantial revenue growth over the next few years.

Polyester POY Bright Yarn (Trilobal Bright POY Yarn)
POY (POLYESTER YARN) is available in various kinds of lustrousness like Full-Dull POY, Semi-Dull POY and Bright POY.
In order to eliminate the luster of the fiber, titanium dioxide (TiO₂) was added into the melt spinning process. POY yarn without TiO₂, it is considered as Bright filament POY (or Tri-lobal Bright yarn). If 0.3% TiO₂ is added, it is called semi-dull filament POY. And if TiO₂ added is more than 0.3%, it is considered as full-dull filament POY. And therefore, the polyester bright yarn looks more shine than semi-dull or full-dull yarns in the light. The fabric made from Bright POY also has the bright luster.
